Laura Creer - Jewellery
I am a contemporary jewellery designer-maker that has lived in the Headingley area for the last 10 years. Having worked for a large jewellery manufacturer in Leeds, I now concentyrate on my own designs and I have currently completed my P.G.C.E teaching certificate. Vintage patterns and tactile objects that enable me to highlight the manual process of making something entirely by hand inspire my own work.
Miriam Laville - Art
My own artwork is the investigation and response to organic forms and their textures. I work in a wide variety of different mediums resulting in varying interpretations of the original object. I have exhibited at many galleries in and around the Yorkshire area as well as providing specialist art and design workshops for both adults and children.
Sandra Taberner - Textiles
Having studied Fashion and Textiles at University I worked for several years within the fashion industry. Firstly, as a garment technologist to gain more experience in pattern cutting and learning how to fit garments and then I moved into design, designing ladies wear for many high street retailers. I then embarked on a new career as a Secondary School Teacher in Design Technology and Art.
